Picture Support for Theme 7

"Wheels help us work and play, sometimes in unexpected ways."  That's the theme concept for Theme 7:  Wheels Go Round.  The Teacher's Note on page T11 suggests displaying different types of vehicles from the Teacher Read Aloud story.  The files below feature a wide assortment of vehicle names and pictures.  Post them on your Focus Wall or use them at a writing center.

Cummulative Kindergarten Letter-Sound fluency practice sheets:  Kindergarten teacher, Candace Leyden and Literacy Coach, Carla Flowers, created letter naming and letter sound practice sheets for kindergarten.  The sheets start with Theme 2 and each subsequent sheets adds the letter or letters taught during that theme, in addition to continued practice with the previously taught letters.  These practice sheets could be used for whole class choral practice, paired practice during Universal Access time, or during an intervention lesson.
